Take note that if you are trying to measure voltage such as how much power is being supplied to the circuit board, you will have to choose from the direct current voltage and the alternating current voltage. You will be able to determine what type of voltage is present through the circuit boards’ circuit diagram.
When it comes to testing the circuit board, make sure that you unplug any electrical device that the board is connected to before removing its housing. Plug the electrical device back once you are performing your tests. Make sure that you also do not touch any electrical wiring or components while you are troubleshooting.
